The Seven Rules of Delegating
June 29th, 2010
The concept of delegating is to assign specific tasks for other individuals to complete. When done properly, it allows a group or organization to work together towards a common goal. Unfortunately, it is not always done correctly. The art of delegating correctly is a learned skill. To delegate tasks properly you must pick the right individual to complete each task, train them in how to complete the task, and trust that whey will complete the task to meet your standards within a desired amount of time. With all of these factors, it can sometimes seem easier to just complete the project by yourself. However, if you do everything yourself you run the risk of getting burnt out and you will never receive the support that you need to reach your organization’s or group’s goals. You also may create resentment within your group.
To help you develop your delegating skills, CEO Systems has created seven delegating rules for you to follow. These rules will help you to properly delegate tasks within your organization and achieve the results that you are wanting.

Networking to Increase Your Revenue
June 8th, 2010
Attending networking groups can be extremely beneficial to your business. Attendance can build awareness for your business, help you develop relationships with members of your community, and bring you leads. In most communities there is a plethora of networking groups that you can attend. In most instances there are so many networking groups that if you were to try to attend them all, you could easily spend three to four hours a day doing nothing but networking.
It may be beneficial for some businesses to attend all the networking opportunities that are available. In these instances, the owner must be able to dedicate their time to attending events or hire a representative to attend the groups for them. Unfortunately, for small businesses with limited resources, you have to use more discretion. Therefore, the question is “which groups will I benefit the most from by attending?” To answer this question, it is important to look at the differences between the networking groups and define your expectations for what you will receive from them.
